THE FLOW OF PEOPLE DOING BLOOD TEST RAISES

The Number of People dropping at KACA VCT has risen from the average of 65% to 80%. This is due to sensitization campaign carried out for the past months to mid of January. The campaign will spread its wings to schools and collages where as we expect the percentage of attendance to blood test to reach 95% by the end of April

KACA ASSIST 42 PEOPLE LIVING WITH HIV/AIDS

Kilimanjaro Aids Control Association (KACA) contributed foods including 4200 kg of maize, 630 of soya beans, 840 kg of beans and 126 Lts of cooking oil. This donation was distributed among 42 People Living With HIV/AIDS, (PLHS's) among this 42 there were 2 Orphans. Each PL HA received 100 kg of maize, 20 kg of beans, 15 kg of so ya beans and 3 Lts Of cooking oil. this donation will help them receive essential nutrients. the donation was part of completing a second emission from RFA. the cost of all food distributed amounting 5,565,400 Tsh. The food was distributed on 11th Jan 2008. Present on The event was Moshi Municipal Council HIV/AIDS Coordinator Mr. Shayo and Representative from RFA, 2 Representative from Soweto Ward and Bondeni Ward respectively.

ORPHANS

Kilimanjaro Aids Control Association (KACA) had received donation from Savjaskolan early this month. The donation will cover part of school fees and basic needs for 16 Orphans. the following are the names who will benefit from the donation: -
