The future of KACA homepage

I have been thinking about how we can improve your homepage and i have some, to say it myself, pretty good suggestions. Take a look at this sketch:

Remember this is my proposals. If you don´t like it, please tell me! No hard feelings! And if you have ideas of what should be on the homepage, don´t hesitate to write to me.

1) It would be nice to put a kaca loggo on the site, red-ribbon and SFR loggo.

2) A counter with how much money we collected so far and what we plan to do with them.

3) A counter with how many orpahans Kaca help.

4) Different subdirectories:

What we do! - Our program, orphans, plans, associates

Do you want to help? - Donate money/stuff, monthly help a child, work as volonteer

Webshop - Sell Ramas music, kaca t-shirts, perhaps something else?

HIV/Aids - information about the situation in Tanzania, how to protect yourselfs, links to good webresources...

5) Do you want to put some adds on the site? If so perhaps Google Adsense will be a good solution.

That´s it for now...

C y! Merry x-mas!

Håkan

AWARENESS OF HIV

everybody knows that people die from HIV.not as many know that people may also live for a long time with HIV infection. like any other person,an HIV carrie can lead a good or a bad life.HIV is not necessarily an obstacle to self-realisation. the less one allows the infection to discourage one,the greater are the chances that one will get the best life.

like any other serious disease,HIV infection makes it im
pontant to live in the present. for those who tend to defer all positive and impontant things in life to the future, a serious disease is doubly dangerous: even though a person may feel well,he can not enjoy the present and the future may be taken away from him by the disease.

Aperson who is HIV-positive has more reasons than others to take good care of himself.lt is important to eat nourishing food.fruits and vegetables contain important vitamins and minerals.A varied and nourishing diet of the kind that everyone should have will reduce the risk of relative malnutrition. Good diet is very important for infected person.

While Rama was inside the hostel catching his jacket I took a picture of the group. It was a cold rainy day without a trace of the sun, but even so a lot of happy faces among our friends from Tanzania.

Varm regards!

During the recent visit in Sweden by a group of youths KACA has been mentioned several times in local media. Her is some short cuts:

A group of tanzanian youths will arive to Tierp at monday and lecture about the problems that follows in the footsteps of hiv and aids in Tanzania. They will also learn what Sweden does to limit the extension of hiv.

Hiv is today a serious problem in Tanzania. Many cildren becomes orphans and must proceed in life on there own. Six young tanzanians who have experienced this is visiting Tierp. They work for the organisation Kilimanjaro Aids Control Association, Kaca, and lecture about the problems hiv and aids couses. They are also talking about how they work against this famine.
